Her Story
Based in Maine, Jess has a lifelong passion for hunting and the outdoors. She spends much of her time hunting big game, small game, waterfowl, and upland. When it's not hunting season, she prioritizes hiking, horseback riding, and exploring Maine's woods. Her passion for the outdoors is not only a personal joy but also a cornerstone of Beyond the Battle's creation. She strongly believes in nature's healing power and the positive impact outdoor experiences can have on veterans, their families, and the communities that support them.
Professionally, Jess serves as a Proposal Manager for an energy management company and runs a small business providing PEMF (Pulsed electromagnetic fields) therapy to the horses and people of Maine. Jess also holds her Maine Recreational Guide license.
