Jeremy studied Marketing at Rhode Island College and has since built a successful career as a Sales Director for an energy management company. With a deep commitment to serving others, he dedicates a significant portion of his time to giving back to our nation's veterans. Jeremy works tirelessly alongside his team at BTB, ensuring the organization continues to fulfill its mission. Beyond his professional and philanthropic efforts, Jeremy is an avid big game and waterfowl hunter. He finds great joy in spending time in the field, where he mentors the Family of Heroes, sharing his expertise and passion for the sport.

Based in Maine, Jess thrives in outdoor pursuits, dedicating much of her time to activities such as hunting, horseback riding, foraging, and hiking. Her passion for the outdoors is not only a personal joy but also a cornerstone of her involvement with BTB, where she actively supports the organization's mission to assist the veteran community. She strongly believes in the true healing power of nature.
In her professional capacity, Jess serves as a Proposal Manager, leveraging her skills to craft compelling proposals focused on prefabricated data centers. Her work is instrumental in securing opportunities that drive innovation and efficiency in the tech industry. |
Brian is a Marine veteran with a deep-rooted passion for wilderness and a lifelong dedication to service, inspired by generations of family members who have proudly served the nation. Raised with a reverence for nature and a commitment to helping others, Brian holds strong values for faith, family, and patriotism.
Since the inception of BTB, Brian has been an integral part of the organization, preferring a low-key role behind the scenes. He volunteers, driven by pride in the accomplishments and vision of leaders like Jeremy and Jess. Brian's support for the Family of Heroes is steadfast, reflecting his unwavering commitment to making a difference in their lives. He also harbors a true love for all BTB support canines, including Pogie, Major, Huck, and Fury, whom he holds dear as integral members of the organization's mission. |
After enlisting in the US Marine Corps in July 2005, Tim served with 3/2 Lima Co.'s weapons platoon, deploying to Alanbar province, Iraq from July 2006 to February 2007. During this time, he conducted vehicle and foot patrols to secure villages and trained with the Iraqi Army for three months. Tim earned a Combat Action Ribbon, a meritorious promotion to Lance Corporal, and a Navy Unit Commendation.
Upon returning, he joined the 3/2 scout sniper platoon, deploying again for reconnaissance missions during the Iraq surge. Tim was meritoriously promoted to Corporal for his actions. Following this deployment, he was stationed at Stone Bay Rifle Range until his EAS in June 2009. After leaving the Marines, Tim pursued R/HVAC studies in college and transitioned to roles on luxury yachts, commercial cruise liners, pharmaceutical plants, and industrial buildings. Recently, Tim joined Brown University as an Applications Engineer, where he works closely with staff, faculty, and the Department of Sustainability across their 243 buildings. |
Master Sergeant Joseph Rice from Sacramento, CA enlisted in the US Marine Corp as an Amphibious Assault Vehicle Crewman in 1995 and retired from active duty service in 2017. During his 23 years of service, MSgt Rice took part in multiple deployments to include Operation Iraqi Freedom I & II and Operation Enduring Freedom (AFG). MSgt Rice now resides in Vermont where he utilizes his leadership experiences as a Human Resource Generalist helping develop and support today's workforce. When he's not at work, you can find MSgt Rice in the mountains or on the lakes of New England on his next outdoor adventure.
